QR Code Generator is a free online developer tool to generate a QR code image from words or text instantly. Supports Unicode characters.
This tool supports various types of QR code; i.e. text, url, WiFi, email, phone, SMS, and geo.
Text - Generates QR code from any text. This is the most basic one. You can enter any text and the output QR code will be generated accordingly.
URL - Generates QR code for a URL. Enter a valid URL starting with the http or https protocol to get the scannable QR code for that URL.
WiFi - Generates QR code for a WiFi connection. Select the encryption type from the list, such as WPA/WPA2, WEP, or none, and then enter the SSID and passphrase if any. If the SSID is hidden, make sure you have the hidden SSID option enabled.
Please note that the passphrase input will be protected like a password field by default. You can toggle it on and off by clicking the eye button at the far right of the field.
Email - Generates QR code for an email. Enter a recipient's email address along with the subject and body of the email. You'll get the scannable QR code for sending the email instantly.
Phone - Generates QR code for a phone number. Simply enter a phone number in the input field to get the QR code.
SMS - Generates QR code for an SMS. Similar to the Email one. Enter a recipient's phone number in the phone number field and the body of the SMS in the message field. You'll get the QR code ready for sending the SMS.
Geo - Generates QR code for a geolocation. Enter the coordinates of a geolocation to get the scannable QR code. The latitude range is from 0 to 90, and the longitude range is from 0 to 180. You can also enter a query string if any.
Once the QR code image is generated, you can simply download it to your device using the download button.
